Rufty Holmes Computer Club

Who We Are

The R-H Computer club was organized in October 1995 by interested older adults meeting at Rufty-Holmes Senior Center in Salisbury North Carolina.

The Rufty-Holmes Computer Club meets in the Hurley Room at Rufty-Holmes Senior Center on Every Thursday (10:00 AM-11:00 AM). Members share technology-related issues, including their own discoveries and problems, as well as hear presentations on various technological applications. Presentations are made by club members and local professional computer service providers using the club's computer and overhead projection system. We continue to meet every Thursday because computer technology is constantly changing each week. We have an opportunity to share the best sources to use that are the best for Senior Citizens. It is a time to get one on one attention with another member who is willing to meet after the club meeting.

Membership is open to adults age 55 or better who have an interest in computers and the many emerging applications in technology... Dues are $24.00 per year ( starting from October) for an individual or $36.00 per couple.Dues are prorated from the month you join.

Formed in 1995, the club now has over 20 member members. If you need help with hardware, software, photography, social media, security practices, or just want to learn about what’s new, this club is for you!
